The Instant Messengers are dropping their sophomore EP "Slammers! on April 15, 2008. This is the second release of the upcoming hip hop crew out of San Francisco, CA featuring non-stop heavy hitters from start to finish.

The EP is a series of vignettes dedicated to the group’s nostalgia of the 90’s generation and all the culture and lifestyles branching from it. It features award winning production of The Instant Messengers resulting in a unique and distinguishable Hip Hop sound that only The Instant Messengers have branded as their own. Every song is a "slammer" with "break your neck" beats and jaw dropping rhymes designed to make the ladies move, and the fellas to raise a fist.

"Slammers!" features guests such as Luckyiam.PSC of Living Legends, Paul Dateh, Spencer Drager of Overview, P.O.S. of Rhymesayers Entertainment, Jimmy Jamz of Brother Reade, and Hangar 18 of Definitive Jux. It also features on song produced by The Grouch of Living Legends.

The Instant Messengers have successfully created a masterpiece based on good times and fun. "Slammers! is a must have release for any music listener built to ready the world for their presence in the music scene for the many years to come.

We did some spot dates in Tahoe and LA this last weekend. There's a bunch of pics and footage that makes us look fresh and legit but this is by far the best.
